Symphonie Atlantique had the honour to work with Michael Chance and some amazing soloist in the Concertgebouw: Lawrence Zazzo (countertenor, Giulio Cesare), Anna Christy (soprano, Cleopatra), Patricia Bardon (mezzosoprano, Cornelia), Tania Kross (mezzosoprano, Tolomeo), Stefanie True (soprano, Sesto), Christopher Purves (bass-baritone, Achilla), Li Meili (countertenor, Nirone).

The opera was presented as part of the Vocal Baroque Series by Fred Luiten Concertorganisatie

Les Lumières: Music of Rameau, Rebel, and Leclair

Baroque Workshop: Mexico City, 2014

SA curso barroco poster (revised)-page-001Members of Symphonie Atlantique have crossed the Atlantic to give a workshop on baroque orchestral playing, lectures, and individual masterclasses and lessons.

From 1-5 November in Mexico City, the workshop focuses on Rameau’s opera and ballet music from Zoroastre and Les Indes galantes.  

The participants of the workshop will play alongside the faculty on 5 November at 19:00 at Biblioteca lerdo de Tejada in the beautiful center of Mexico City.
